Today I made:

• a pin
• a necklace
• another felt hairclip

No, I don't have pics yet. But they're cute :) I have a fairly large order of supplies being shipped to me, so you can bet I'll be creating a lot this weekend. Stay tuned for pics!

Tomorrow, a trip to the "project store" as Milo calls it for more supplies. I love this part-buying, imagining, then watching as my imagined project takes shape...pure bliss. :-)))

Custom Designs

It has been a great week for jewelry making.

I've finished off several pieces for the shop, and created two custom pairs of earrings to match my Key to Happiness pendant and the Earth and Moss necklace. Thanks Lisa! They were shipped off this morning and I am feeling good!

I love doing custom pieces...tell your friends!

Oh! And I have purchased a spot on the Necklace Showcase on Etsy for April 1. This means that for the entire day, my necklaces will be featured on a prominent main page. Which will, hopefully, mean more hits to my page and business! :-D


So, spread the word! I'm on a creative roll...making new pieces every night. I'll be better about uploading pics this week because my camera (and S2H *wink!*) will be returning this evening from abroad. :)))

I must have a muse...

I am on a ROLL! 

In the last 24 hours, I have made:

• SEVENTEEN (17!!!) pairs of earrings (no, I'm not kidding)
• a hair clip
• a headband
• a necklace. 

Whew.

Plus, I added 3 new items to my shop (not even the new ones yet...those need to be photographed).

And still had time to play super-mom by day. The weather here has been GORGEOUS! Which means I've been walking, playing at the park, creating chalk masterpieces and eating custard. yum.

I'm pooped! Stay tuned...pics of all the new stuff is coming. (I promise)

Busy, foggy, chilly Monday.

I tackled my goal of photographing ALL my jewelry today (well, except for three pairs of earrings. Stupid camera battery died.) Yippee!

I also had fun making these super easy, super adorable fabric flowers on Friday night...and have a great idea for some jewelry with them.

I just added one more item to my Etsy shop, the Black and White CF necklace.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, the boy is awake, so the rest of this must wait until bedtime. :)

Happy Friday!!

I'm so glad it's Friday :)

Busy weekend planned, but I have some awesome ideas for new jewelry, pins and earrings swirling around in my head, especially after blog-stalking a bit (check out who I'm following now...there are some amazingly creative women I found....and I'm just GIDDY knowing there are THOUSANDS more I haven't even discovered yet!). So many ideas, so little time!


Today and tomorrow are double discount days at my store (waaahooo! truly, the only reason I work there :-x) and I plan on spending a large chunk of my paycheck on fabric, felt, findings and....well, beads. (sorry, couldn't think of another word that started with "f").


Wednesday night I added a few more items to my Etsy shop. It occurred to me that I should also add some pics here, just cuz. :) Oh! And I really want one of those Etsy widgets for my blog...y'know the kind the floats over on the right side and has pics of items from your own shop....anyone know how I can get one?? Thanks :D

So...here's the stuff I have added so far, plus a preview of the other ones I've managed to photograph (just haven't gotten around to adding them yet). This weekend my main goal is to photograph the other jewelry I have already made that are (no joke) in a SHOEBOX. *face palm* sigh.

Welcome!

Hello and welcome to the Land of LaLooLoo Jewels!

I started this blog to coincide with my newest project, LaLooLoo, my Etsy Jewelry shop. Beading and jewelry-making have been a passion of mine for awhile, but it wasn't until a co-worker talked me into selling my "wares" at a craft show to support her church that I took it seriously.

I <3 all things vintage, whimsical, artsy, simple, elegant, classy, and unique. I am on a kick right now with keys, cameos and antique bronze findings (not necessarily together).

I am beginning to really love mixed media, as I've just started dabbling in it.
